We would like to remind you that the 7th International ORBIT Conference on "Organic Resources in the Carbon Economy - ORBIT 2010" will be held in Heraklio (Crete - Greece) in June 29th – July 3rd 2010 and the deadline for abstract submission is the 31stJanuary 2010.

Following the tradition of its predecessors, the focus of the 7th ORBIT Conference will be on all aspects of organic waste management – a valuable resource in the carbon economy. ORBIT 2010 aspires to provide a major scientific forum to cover the latest research findings and policy developments regarding both material and energy recovery from organic waste and residues.
The event will be supplemented by two Workshops, an exhibition and study tours. The Workshops are:
1. The European Compost Network “EU Policy and Practice Day”, on Thursday, July 1, 2010 targeted to Waste Management Authorities and Municipalities, and
2. “Workshop on Wastewater Reuse”, co-organised with the Municipal Enterprise for Water and Wastewater of Heraklion and the Hellenic Water Supply and Sewerage Systems Association
High quality contributions will be published in special issues of:
Global NEST Journal,
Journal of Environmental Science & Health, and
Waste Management & Research.
We will be pleased to welcome you to the next ORBIT in June 29th – July 3rd2010 in Heraklion, Crete and we promise an interesting scientific and cultural programme, with many stimulating discussions and an excellent networking opportunity.
