Following the tradition of its predecessors, the focus of the 7^th ORBIT Conference will be on all aspects of organic waste management – a valuable resource in the carbon economy.  ORBIT 2010 aspires to provide a major scientific forum to cover the latest research findings and policy developments regarding both material and energy recovery from organic waste and residues. The event will be supplemented by the European Compost Network's practitioners day, an exhibition and study tours.

High quality contributions will be published in special issues of peer reviewed journals.

We will be pleased to welcome you to the next ORBIT in June 29^th – July 3^rd 2010 in Crete and we promise an interesting scientific and cultural programme, with many stimulating discussions and an excellent networking opportunity.
